Thanks for sharing. It brought some just under-the-surface feelings regarding my mom’s final week (some of which I have discussed with you previously).

As for your treatment at the hospital, it reminded me how thankful my family was with the outstanding treatment we received from the ICU and staff. What you experienced is something that I cannot imagine that I could have handled as well as you did. My brother would have punched his way through the staff until the tasers came.

I have yet to see a 3D movie and thought, “Man, am I glad that was in 3D.” I especially hate them because I wear glasses, and wearing 3D glasses over my glasses is the worse. Luckily, movies are beginning to be more obvious which times are for 3D versus 2D. Thanks for reading. Your post was the inspiration for mine.

I laughed when I read 3D movies. I HATE 3D movies!! $13 for a 3D movie?! Ridiculous! And why are the glasses so terrible?! Yeah, I’m totally on board with boycotting 3D movies.

Hello Eric,
I know your sister Robin. As I read your blog I tear up. My mom died the exact same way. She decided that she would be taken off and told the doctor to do so. I could not be with her to watch her die. My prayers are with you and your family.
